Rich Aucoin

Rich Aucoin is a Canadian musician from Halifax, Canada, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He releases music through Bonsound. His work is associated with indie pop and electronic music.

Early releases and touring

Aucoin releases his first EP, Personal Publication, in 2007. He supports it with a cross-Canada tour completed entirely by bicycle, raising money for Childhood Cancer Canada. After touring with The Hylozoists, he develops an iron deficiency. Following recovery, he undertakes another tour and raises money for the Canadian Cancer Society by running marathons between shows.

Albums and collaborations

During those tours, Aucoin records material across Canada with a wide range of musicians, friends and fans for his debut full-length album, We’re All Dying to Live, which appears in 2011. The album includes more than 500 guest musicians. His second album, Ephemeral, appears in 2014.
