Rhys decided to make a conscious effort to get out there and meet as many musicians and studio people as possible....which lead him to the team at Eargasm Studios Sydney. He spent the last 2 months of 2006 re-recording a 3 tracks demo for A & R circulation from the Make It Count Album....The songs are Half the Man...No More Mr Nice Guy and U & I...and they now have new rockedge to them. Rhys' music is like a bottle of wine...constantly evolving and improving with time........ Throughout this process he has come to realise that the amount of work required to produce an album on his own - is not as hard as trying to promote it....to get it out there.....and make the dream happen... Rhys' music is personal, putting pen to paper helped him become more true and honest in his life than he had ever have been. For the first time in his life, he believes he is starting to know the real Rhys. Rhys notes: "I am grateful for my life and the pleasure of everyone I have ever met. There has been some good times and some bad and my songs reflect this, but I know you have to experience the bad before you can really understand you are experiencing the good. My songs are about moments in time.when the experience of emotions allowed me to express my true feelings. They are about love, the deepest kind ""pain and happiness"" the people I have hurt and being hurt in return, they are inspirational / motivational and are aboutfun.. and most of all ..hope. For all the good and the bad times we shared together they were all meant to be and I now realise how important it is to understand this and to be grateful for every experience encountered, even the ones you loose The one and only special thing to me that stands out is that with music .it is not for everyone not at one time can one song mean the same to two different people ..and that's what I love about music. One song can effect so many people on so many different levels. there is something special in that! All the answers to the questions in our lives lie within us ..its time we started being more honest to ourselves in everything we do when this happens I believe everyone can find true happiness. My music is about the journey of finding true happiness ..Oh! By the way I'm still looking too if that's any conciliation ..but I know I'll get there someday Cheer Rhys"
