Rhadoo

Rhadoo is the performance name of Radu Bogdan Cilinca, a Romanian DJ and producer associated with minimal, house, minimal techno, electronic and deep house. He is one of the first generation of DJs to emerge after the Romanian revolution, and he is influenced by DJ Vasile and Vladone.

Early career

He is born in Galati in 1975. He begins performing at Club A, where he plays tapes two nights a week throughout the 1990s. He then builds experience and visibility at Zerillo’s, The Office and Karma.

Radio work and wider activity

By the early 2000s, Rhadoo has his own weekly radio show and travels across Romania to play. He is described as a major figure in the development of the Romanian scene.
