Revenant

Revenant is an American death/thrash metal group from New Jersey, active from 1986 to 1995. The band sits between death metal and thrash metal, and is associated with the old school death metal and death/thrash metal scenes.

History

Formed in the late 1980s, Revenant records a small number of demos, one full-length album, and a couple of EPs. The group also makes an attempt to reform in 2002 in order to release an EP, but it splits up again. Its membership at times includes musicians from Immolation and Incantation.

Recordings

The band’s only full-length album is Prophecies of a Dying World. Alongside that release, Revenant issues several demos and two EPs during its active period.
