Retro Stefson

Retro Stefson is an Icelandic alternative and pop group from Reykjavík, formed in 2006. The band’s line-up includes Unnsteinn Manuel Stefánsson on lead vocals and guitar, Þórður Jörundsson on guitar, Logi Pedro Stefánsson on bass guitar, Jon Ingvi Seljeseth on keyboards, Þorbjörg Roach Gunnarsdóttir on synthesizer, Haraldur Ari Stefánsson on backing vocals and percussion, and Gylfi Sigurðsson on drums. It is active from 2006 to the present and is associated with Logi Pedro.

The group is signed to Vertigo-Berlin/Universal. Its debut album, Montaña, appears first in Iceland, and its second album, Kimbabwe, follows on Kimi Records before later appearing as a European release through the German branch of Vertigo Records. Retro Stefson is described as one of the most prominent Icelandic bands to emerge in the 21st century.
