Resist

Resist is a hardcore punk band from Portland, Oregon, in the United States. It is associated with anarcho-punk, hardcore, punk and crust, and is also described as a straight edge hardcore group. The band is linked with the PDX hardcore scene and its politics.

Line-up and related projects

The band features Wrench, known for work with Ten Yard Fight and Stand & Fight, on vocals. Members of Resist go on to play in Cluster Bomb Unit, Defiance, Detestation, Deprived and Severed Head Of State, among many other bands.

Releases

Resist issues a number of records, including a split release with fellow Portland band Deprived and the Ignorance is Bliss LP, both on Profane Existence. It also has an EP on Indecision Records from 2008.
