Repertoire

Repertoire is a Milwaukee group formed by six close friends from a small high school in 2000. The band remains active and builds its identity around collaboration, with its name reflecting the idea of a shared range of material or ideas prepared to be performed. It presents itself as a blend of influences rather than a single fixed style.

Early history

The group wins six college battle-of-the-bands competitions and plays at major venues across Wisconsin. It also releases an independent album that sells 1,000 copies without a label. The band receives a nomination for a WAMI award for Best Rock Group.

Line-up and later development

After a period of inactivity, the core of the band reunites in 2007 and adds 94.5 WKTI’s Rockstar Jaizon Plaga. The group describes its sound as drawing on the styles associated with Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Dispatch and Gavin DeGraw, while still aiming for a recognisable identity of its own.

Recorded work

In the period following the reunion, Repertoire plans a new album titled Moving On. The band’s history is marked by changing personal paths, internal musical differences and members pursuing other interests, but the core group continues under the same name.
