Reno Divorce
Reno Divorce is a cowpunk group from Denver, United States, active since 1996. Its sound combines punk rock, honky tonk country and rockabilly elements, and it is also described as punk rock’n’roll with a strong melodic, working-band approach. The group’s songs are noted for sitting between the styles of the Smithereens and Social Distortion.
Line-up
The band consists of Brent Loveday on lead guitar and vocals, Tim Jadowski on bass, Tye Battistella on rhythm guitar, and Ruben Patino on drums. Loveday is the group’s main songwriter, and the songs are presented as a mix of direct playing and storytelling.
Live history and associations
Reno Divorce has played with a wide range of punk and related acts, including ALL, Social Distortion, TSOL, the Adolescents, Agent Orange, Shattered Faith, X, the Blasters and Motörhead.
