Renata

Renata is an Estonian vocalist who is based in Hartford, Connecticut. The artist tours independently, headlines regional markets and has shared stages with Avril Lavigne, Ashlee Simpson, Howie Day, Tyler Hilton, Gary Jules and Lifehouse.

Releases and radio play

In 2004, Renata releases The Other Side of Earth, an independent recording that helps extend the artist’s reach across the United States. The music also appears in the iTunes catalogue and other online music services. Renata performs live on Connecticut station 96.5 TIC-FM, where material enters daytime rotation, and receives support from the station’s Gary Craig Morning Show.

Recognition and industry work

Renata receives several local honours in Connecticut, including Hartford Advocate Best Original Group in 2001, Best Pop Rock and Best Male Vocalist in 2002, and Best Original Rock Band in 2003. In early 2005, Renata begins working with Jeff Blue and Blue Ladder Productions, and later signs a publishing deal with Zomba Publishing while continuing to write and record new material in the studio.
