Remee

Remee is a Danish producer, composer and songwriter, born in 1974. He writes and co-writes pop songs and has been active with the group Sound of Seduction. His work is associated with Boom! Records Denmark and RE:A:CH.

Across his career, he has written more than 60 hits worldwide and sold over 25 million records. He often co-writes with Thomas Troelsen.

Songwriting and awards

In 2003, he helps write Jamelia’s international hit “Superstar”. The song is first released by Danish singer Christine Milton, and the work earns him a British Ivor Novello Award. He also co-writes the German Eurovision Song Contest entry for 2008, “Disappear”, performed by No Angels.

In 2005, he joins Nicolai and Rasmus Seebach in composing a tribute song for the victims of the Boxing Day tsunami. Remee also performs “Hvor små vi er” with several Danish celebrities. The song goes 13 times platinum and raises more than 3 million Danish kroner for tsunami victims.

Television

Remee serves as one of the judges on the Danish version of X-Factor, appearing across 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011 alongside different combinations of Lina Rafn, Thomas Blachman, Pernille Rosendahl and Soulshock.
