Rema

Rema is the stage name of Divine Ikubor, a Nigerian singer and rapper from Benin City in Edo State. He is associated with afrobeats, afrobeat, trap, pop and hip-hop, and is linked with Mavins as well as the Jonzing World and Mavin Records labels.

His early EPs are described as influential in the development of hip-hop and trap in Nigeria. The songs “Iron Man” and “Spiderman” appear on Barack Obama’s 2019 music list, and “Dumebi” becomes a global hit. His debut album, Rave & Roses, is released in 2022.
