Reflection In Exile are a metal quintet from North East England. Their sound draws on early death metal and modern thrash, combining fast, technical drumming, riff-led guitar work, low growled vocals and higher-pitched screams. The group performs material across live venues in the UK and circulates recordings internationally.

Releases

The band’s debut EP, The Law of Retaliation, is released in 2011. After that, they issue the single Apega and continue writing material for a planned full-length album. The EP brings them critical attention, sales of several hundred copies, a nationwide following and further live opportunities.

Activity and exposure

Reflection In Exile work within the UK underground metal scene and begin touring their EP material in spring 2011. Their releases lead to radio play on FM stations and specialist metal internet shows, which helps generate more live dates and label interest.
