Redwing

Redwing is a US southern rock band from Sacramento, California, active from 1970. The group evolves out of earlier local bands, New Breed and later Glad, and it forms after Timothy B. Schmit leaves the lineup in 1970 to join Poco. When Redwing takes shape, the members are George Hullin, Ron Floegel, Tom Phillips and Andrew Samuels, who replaces Schmit.

The band records its first album, Redwing, for Fantasy in early 1971. Its style is identified with country rock and southern rock.
