Red Sky July is a country and alt-country group that forms in 2009 and is active to the present. The group is based in the United States and consists of Charity Hair, Ally McErlaine and Shelly Poole.

It brings together three established musicians from different backgrounds. Ally McErlaine is also known for his work with Texas, Shelly Poole for Alisha’s Attic, and Charity Hair for The Alice Band. The group presents itself as a collaborative project built around their combined experience as singers and songwriters.

Red Sky July releases an original debut album and is described as a project from musicians who have been involved with music for most of their lives.
