Recon

Recon is a straight edge hardcore group from Albany, New York. The band is active from 2004 and is made up of Joshua King and Mike Mulholland. Its music is described as beatdown hardcore, downtempo deathcore and metalcore, and it is also associated with mo$hcore.

The band forms in 2003 and releases an EP, Graves, on Closed Casket Activities in 2006. It later signs to Rise Records and, after a number of line-up changes, records and releases its debut full-length, Welcome to Viper City, in 2008.
