Real Farmer

Real Farmer is a Dutch rock band from Groningen, the Netherlands. The group performs as a four-piece: Jeroen Klootsema on lyrics and vocals, Marrit Meinema on bass and vocals, Jesper Vos on guitar and vocals, and Anna Fleuri Wolters on drums and vocals.

The band’s debut release is the Real Farmer EP, which appears in 2019. A full-length album, Compare What’s There, follows in 2024. Their music is described as alternative rock and is associated with post-punk, indie, garage punk and alternative rock.

The band’s own description presents its sound as fast-paced and tense, shaped by themes of heartache and solitary travel.
