Razmataz Lorry Excitement is a group active since 2005 and associated with Newcastle upon Tyne. It is centred on Kev Dosdale and works in the area sometimes described as evil pop.

Releases and activity

The group releases its debut album on the DIY label Fakedream Records in 2007. It also produces two one-hour mixes for BBC Radio’s Northern Uproar show.

Collaborations and performances

Razmataz Lorry Excitement supports Klaxons, and remixes artists including DARTZ! and This Aint Vegas.

Style

The project blends influences associated with LCD Soundsystem, Daft Punk, !!! and Justice, with a dance-oriented sound.
