Raz

Raz is the recording name of Rasmus Lindwall, one half of Rob ’n’ Raz. In this form, Raz is associated with Israeli psytrance and psychedelic trance.

Music and style

Raz Kfir is described as an Israeli psytrance artist and a master of the style. His debut album, Twisted Fairytale, appears on SunDance Records and presents melodic trance with strong basslines, ecstatic emotion, brooding atmosphere and rich, uplifting melodies. Some of the material also carries a darker, more sinister edge and an apocalyptic feel.

Other uses of the name

The name Raz is also used by other artists in different genres. It is used as a pseudonym by house producer Ralphi Rosario, whose best-known track under that name is Amour Puerto Riqueno (Puerto Rican Lover) on DJ International Records. It is also used by the Russian rapper raZ, later known as raZy, who is known for the tracks “Бит” and “Музыка” from the album 81.
