Ray Quinn is an English actor, singer and dancer from Knowsley, United Kingdom. He specialises in swing, big-band and jazz music.

Career

Quinn finishes second in the 2006 series of The X Factor and later wins the 2009 series of Dancing on Ice. After The X Factor, he signs to Sony BMG and records a swing album at the Capitol Records Tower in Los Angeles.

Recording and releases

His debut album, Ray Quinn: Doing It My Way, appears in 2007 and reaches number one in the UK charts. The album also goes Gold in its first week. Quinn is later dropped by his record label in November 2007.

Live performances and other work

Quinn undertakes a solo tour from September to November 2007. In November 2007, he records a cover of You To Me Are Everything for the Liverpool: Number Ones Album, and in January 2008 he performs at the Number One Project concert at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
