rAXYOr

rAXYOr is a breakcore and electronic music act associated with experimental, IDM, dark breakcore and electronica. It is linked to Western New York and, in its early development, the project begins when Jeffery Benjamin Penton starts experimenting with electronic music during his later teenage years.

Style and output

The project describes its music as a combination of “Hyper Jungle,” “Splatter,” and “Rave’n’Bass” with classic dubstep and drum and bass roots. Its tracks are characterised by intricate, complex beats and unpredictable structures, with a style rooted in breakcore and related bass-heavy electronic forms.

Releases and activity

rAXYOr contributes to a dozen albums released through ten record labels over a five-year period. The act appears on the Buffalo live circuit early on, making its debut appearance at Showplace Theater in Buffalo, New York, and later performs internationally, including in Canada, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, the UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Ukraine, Norway, Scotland and Spain.
