Raw Silk
Raw Silk is an American dance group from New York, active between 1979 and 1983. It is assembled by producer Ronald Dean Miller and includes former Crown Heights Affair member Bert Reid, along with vocalists Jessica Cleaves, Sybil Thomas and Tenita Jordan.
Releases
The group scores a chart hit in the early 1980s with “Do It To The Music”, issued on West End Records. Its follow-up, “Just In Time”, is less successful and becomes its final release on West End.
