Ravenface

Ravenface is a British heavy metal group from Blackpool in the United Kingdom. Formed in 2007, the band performs in heavy metal, melodic death metal and metalcore styles, and is also described as an alternative metal act.

Formation and early releases

The band forms in early 2007, with James Denton on vocals, Dom Rodriguez on drums and Billy Dowdall on bass. After building a following in the north of England, Ravenface begins playing shows across the UK. Their first EP, Isolation, appears in the summer of 2007.

Line-up and albums

In late 2008, the group adds William “Rod” Collins on lead guitar and Jack Ormound-Prout on rhythm guitar, completing the line-up described as current at that point. Ravenface releases its debut album, This Is Annihilation, in 2010. The album includes the tracks “The Resurrection”, “Spineless” and “The Bittersweet Truth”.

Live activity

The band plays a notable performance at Hammerfest III and continues to build its live profile through UK touring.
