Rave the Reqviem

Rave the Reqviem is an industrial metal group from Borgholm Municipality, active since 2011. It is founded and led by Filip Lönnqvist, who remains the only listed member.

The project forms around a combination of industrial metal and modern electronic styles, including dubstep and drum and bass. Its sound also includes melodic choruses sung by vocalist Jenny Fagerstrandh, who uses the name The Seraph, and by soprano Carola Lönnqvist. The music is described as bringing together mechanical darkness with more sentimental and melodic elements.

All of the music is written, recorded and produced by Filip Lönnqvist at his home studio in Kalmar. Mixing and mastering are handled by Jan Lehmkämper at X-Fusion Music Production.
