Rastamouse

Rastamouse is a character from a British animated stop-motion children’s television series made for CBeebies. The series is created by Genevieve Webster and Michael De Souza and produced by Three Stones Media and The Rastamouse Company.

Concept and setting

The programme centres on Da Easy Crew, a reggae band of mice who split their time between making music and solving mysteries for Da President of Mouseland. The character is associated with Jamaica.

Music

All music for the series is composed by Andrew Kingslow. The theme tune is sung by Martin “Sugar” Merchant, who is a former singer in the rock/reggae band Audioweb.
