Raptus

Raptus is the name used by two different acts. One is Rewan Leach, a UK glitch-hop producer associated with the dubstep scene. He has produced and mixed since 2008, is based in Cornwall, and builds a profile in the local underground DJ and producer community. His releases attract attention from labels including Adapted Records, and he plays events such as Crasken, Jericho and Acid Bath. He also performs alongside artists including DatsiK, Stenchman and Koan Sound. The act is described as a glitch-hop artist, with links to dubstep and EDM.

The other Raptus is a Portuguese black metal project formed by Guardião and Nazgul after the split of Mors Liberatrix. It releases the demo-tape Antiphilanthropy on Nightmare Productions in 2003 and Fragments in 2004. In 2003 it contributes the exclusive track “Morte Libertadora” to the first volume of the Portuguese underground compilation Lusitânia Dark Horde - Requiems To The Rebirth Of Unholy Black Metal. One of the members later plays in Ab Imo Pectore under the nickname Eter.
