Rango

Rango is an Egyptian group active since 1996. It performs music rooted in mystic healing traditions, Zar and Voodoo rites, and dance music associated with traditional wedding celebrations. The group’s sound centres on lyres fitted with electric pickups and vintage Rango marimbas with gourd spirit resonators.
