Raising Maisie is an Italian art rock group from Messina, active since 1994. The group consists of Cinzia La Fauci and Alberto Scotti.

The act is associated with indie, pop rock and British music influences, and it aims for a fresh take on British pop band traditions. The name is also linked with a four-piece line-up in earlier biographical material, where the members are described with vocal, keyboard, bass and drum roles, including kazoo.

Raising Maisie forms at a music college and later builds a reputation through competition wins and performances across south-east England. Before the group forms, the musicians are involved in other projects that include major festivals, television and theatre.
