Rainy and The Dust (formerly Little Gaia) have come a long way from the wind swept shores of west Wales where the band first started out playing surf clubs, pubs and festivals. With a warm heart and a cheeky smile these boys infuse the positivity of Rainys lyrics with dynamic percussion breakdowns and latin, afro, rock and reggae influenced grooves.
After Rainy moved to Bath in 2007 the band have been busy on the summer festival circuit including headlining The Oak stage at Small Nations, Glastonbury, Bloom, Croissant Neuf, Exmouth, Darvel (supporting Martin Taylor) and many gigs across the country. Fast becoming a festival favourite, they deliver the upbeat lyrics and the feelgood world rhythms to brighten up even the most rain drenched u.k. festival!
