Rachel Wallace is a British rave and house vocalist from England who is active in the early 1990s. She is closely associated with Suburban Base Records, where many listeners regard her as the label’s unofficial first lady.

She is best known for the 1992 breakbeat hardcore and techno track “Tell Me Why,” which becomes her signature song. The record is co-written and co-produced by Wallace with Mark Williams and Matt Clayden, who work as M&M. Although she has other follow-up releases, this track remains the one most strongly associated with her.
