Other acts using the name Quorum

Another Quorum is a progressive rock band from Moscow, formed in 2003. That band draws on 19th-century music and 1970s rock, with listeners also hearing echoes of Genesis, Rush, Autograf and Camel. Bassist and keyboardist Dmitry Shtatnov and guitarist Pavel Barabanov begin working together in summer 2002, joined by drummer Sergey Niconorov in spring 2003. Keyboardist Stanislav Smirnov joins later in 2003, and after a search for a vocalist, Shtatnov takes on singing duties himself. Elena Kanevskaya later joins as a second vocalist, and the group records its first demo CD in 2005–2006. Smirnov leaves in early 2007, after which the band continues as a studio trio until Dmitry Drogounov adds flutes and guitars. Their song “Snow” appears on the progressive rock compilation Music for brains-4: Grand Finale in 2008, and work begins on the album Klubkin’s Voyage, tracked in 2009 and mixed over 2009–2010. Vladimir Yanovsky later joins on bass after leaving the folk-rock band Polynia. The listed members are Dmitry Shtatnov, Pavel Barabanov, Sergey Niconorov, Elena Kanevskaya, Dmitry Drogounov and Vladimir Yanovsky, with Stanislav Smirnov as a former live keyboard player.

A separate Quorum is an a cappella group from Lithuania. Another is a barbershop quartet that wins the 2022 International Quartet Contest.
