Pyncher

Pyncher are a Manchester-based post-punk group active since 2020. The band comprises Sam Blakeley, Brittany Dewhurst, Harvey O’Toole and Jack Rainbow.

They play moody, playful post-punk and are associated with the Manchester underground scene. Their sound draws on Ennio Morricone-inspired riffs and twangs, and they feature on BBC Radio 6. Their EP Chew receives praise from NME and other outlets.

The group begins gigging in 2020 and develops a following in Manchester before starting to gain attention in London as well. A performance at Brixton Windmill is filmed by Lou Smith.
