Psychological Strategy Board

Psychological Strategy Board is a collaboration between Paul Snowdon, who records as Time Attendant, and broadcaster and record label manager Jonny Mugwump, who records as Exotic Pylon. It begins as a commissioned mixtape and remix alias through the Front & Follow label, then develops into a conceptual recording project.

The project uses live improvisation with analogue devices, sample-based loops and field recordings. These elements are mixed into a single track before production, creating a cubist, block-editing approach. Its sound is concerned with a panic-ambient area that sits on the edge between music and non-music.
