PS I Love You

PS I Love You is a Canadian indie rock duo from Kingston, Ontario, active since 2006. The group consists of Paul Saulnier and Benjamin Nelson, with Saulnier on vocals and guitar and Nelson on drums. It is associated with the label Paper Bag Records.

Debut album

The band’s debut album, Meet Me at the Muster Station, is released in 2010. It receives a favourable review from Pitchfork, which gives it an 8.1 rating and describes it as a compact debut with an epic feel. Pitchfork also gives the track “Facelove” an 8 and names it “Best New Music”.

Critical reception

Meet Me at the Muster Station also appears at No. 4 on Exclaim!'s Top Pop & Rock Albums of 2010 list. Writer Alex Hudson describes the album as fully formed and characterises the duo’s sound as catchy hooks delivered with fuzzy guitars and thundering rhythms.
