Prozak

Prozak is the stage name of Steven T. Shippy, a rapper and film director from Saginaw, Michigan, in the United States. Born in 1977, he works as an independent hip hop artist and has been active since 1999. He is also described as one of the few rappers of Egyptian descent.

Music career

Prozak releases music in hip hop and horrorcore, and is associated with Strange Music. He signs with the label in 2011, after already issuing albums connected to it. His work is also linked with the project Deadman.

Film and paranormal work

Alongside music, Shippy works as a film director and makes paranormal films with his crew. One of these is SEEKERS: A Haunting on Hamilton Street, which is set in Saginaw and follows Shippy, Brian Harnois, Father Calder and others as they investigate reportedly haunted places using video and EVP, or Electronic Voice Phenomenon. A second volume is produced and a third is planned in the project sequence described in the available information.
