Proper Ornaments

Proper Ornaments are a London-based neo-psychedelic pop group formed by Maximo Celada Claps and James Hoare. The pair meet in a women’s clothing shop in Notting Hill Gate and begin recording together soon afterwards.

Their music sits between indie pop, psychedelic pop and guitar-led rock, and it is compared with artists such as Felt, The Byrds and Comet Gain. They release a 7-inch single on the San Francisco label Make a Mess in 2010.
