Primitai

Primitai are a heavy metal band from the United Kingdom, formed in Sandhurst and developed through live shows in London. The line-up includes Guy Miller on vocals, Tom Draper and Srdjan Bilic on guitars, Jamie LordCastle on bass and Chris Chilcott on drums.

Style and sound

The band combine older and newer metal styles, with twin-guitar leads, heavy riffs, strong rhythmic backing and melodic, powerful vocals. Their sound sits across heavy metal, thrash metal, melodic metal and progressive metal, with an emphasis on memorable hooks and extended guitar solos.

Releases and activity

Primitai release their third album after The Line of Fire, which comes out in late 2010 and draws critical praise. After that record, the band spends two years touring across the UK and Ireland and then returns to writing, recording, re-writing and re-recording new material for the next album.

Live appearances

The band plays with Saxon, Grand Magus, Edguy, Firewind, Warbringer, Evile, Sonic Syndicate, White Wizzard, IAMI and Jettblack. They also appear at Hard Rock Hell, Bloodstock and High Voltage, building a reputation through club dates and festival slots across the UK and Europe.
