Primal is a Japanese rapper best known as a member of the hip-hop unit MSC. He releases work through Dubstar Records.

Solo work

Primal makes his solo debut with Nemuru Otoko in 2007, a release whose title means “Sleeping Man.” In 2013, he issues Proletariat, his first album in six years. He also releases the live DVD Rei GRAVITY in 2014.

Other projects

In 2008, Primal forms Teppan BOYZ with SHINGO☆Nishinari, and the duo releases a self-titled single in the same year.

Personal life and work

Between the releases of his albums, Primal gets married and begins working at a teppanyaki shop.
