Ponderosa

Ponderosa is an Atlanta-based group formed in 2010 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The band consists of J. Thomas Hall, Kalen Nash and Kris Sampson.

Style and sound

The group is described as a southern psychedelic band, with roots in southern rock, Americana, indie rock and mellow rock. Its music is characterised by a mix of Southern rock and Beatles-influenced arrangements, with lush harmonies, prominent guitars and pianos, and a strong emphasis on melody and hooks.
