PolyNation

PolyNation is a Dutch electronic music duo formed by Stijn Hosman and Hessel Stuut. The project develops from their search for common creative ground and works across electronica, techno, ambient and jazz influences.

Style and performance

The duo focuses on live performance, with music built around spontaneous interaction and improvisation. Their sets often begin with organic composition and move toward freer improvisation, with the balance between live playing and looping creating a single, layered performance. They combine electronic and acoustic sounds, with shifting textures, synth parts and acoustic noise forming a dense sound world.
