Poltergeist

Poltergeist is a Swiss thrash metal band formed in 1985 and active from that point onward. It is a group from Switzerland and belongs to the thrash metal genre.

The name is also used by a number of unrelated acts in different countries and styles, including crust punk, grindcore, trance, rock, alternative rock, pop-rock, melodic death metal, noise rock, raw crust punk, noise, house, drum and bass, Japanese pop idol music, and djent. One of these is a solo trance project associated with Union Jack’s Simon Berry, which produces the track “Vicious Circles” and issues it through Manifesto Records. Another is a side project of Echo and the Bunnymen members Will Sergeant and Les Pattinson.
