Police Bastard are a punk group from Birmingham. Their line-up has changed frequently since forming in 1994, and the band’s members have included Trogg Contempt, Chris Crass, Adam Dudley, Dan Hoole, Stuart Jones, Clive Meldrum, John Pickering and Dee Smith.

Line-up and history

The group’s long-running members include Stu-pid on vocals, who is listed as active from 1994 to 1999 and again from 2006 onwards, and John Doom on guitar and vocals, who plays from 1994 to 2003 and provides vocals on a later release. Chris Crass plays bass from 1994 to 1997 and again from 2007 onwards. Simon James joins on drums from 2008 onwards, while Seano Porno and Mark Badger both join on guitar from 2007 onwards.

Earlier members include Clive on drums from 1994 to 2003, Trogg on bass in 1994 and again from 2006 to 2007, Dee Smith on bass from 1997 to 2003, Dan Hoole on guitar from 1997 to 2003, Gizz Butt on guitar in 2006, Mad Max Evilsen on drums in 2006, and Pixie on drums from 2007 to 2008. Si Reeves also plays bass for European touring in 2008 and 2010.
