Plastic

Plastic is an electronic artist associated with EBM, futurepop, synthpop and related electronic styles. The name is used by several different acts, including a shoegaze band from Queens, a synthpunk and industrial band from Chicago, a Finnish rapper, a Japanese pop rock group, a short-lived trance project, a Latvian DJ, a Norwegian hardcore punk band and a German electro-EBM band.

Electronic project

One Plastic project consists of Agnieszka Burcan and Pawel Radziszewski. Burcan handles vocals, keyboards and programming, while Radziszewski plays guitar, scratches and programming. Their debut album moves through dance, house, electro, funk, drum and bass and chillout, presenting a broad mix of electronic styles.

Other act with the same name

Another Plastic is an electronic producer known for the song “Hoe Park”, which features Ayesha Erotica. That track appears in October 2019.

Related names

The name also belongs to a German electro-EBM band described as similar in style to A23, whose album Black Colours is regarded by many as a masterpiece.
