There are 4 artists recording as 'Planes' :
1. A project created by Placebo's drummer Steve Forrest, who is front man (Vocals, Guitars, Perc). Other members are Dan Sayer (Vox, Bass) Char O' Lette (Vox, Violin, Keys), Ted Brunning (Vox and Guitars) and Ed Harris (Drums-formerly of The Holloways). Debut EP was released on 14th November.
2. The new Richard Bultitude alias (Point B, Frond). In true Lab Beat tradition, expect destabilised, squashy, wonk-hop stylings across 3 releases.
3. "Melodramatic Popular Song" from Bogota, Colombia, formed in 2009 by two Pablos. Their first album, "Electrocumbias a 5mil" is expected to launch early 2011.
4. Totally obscure and wonderful Kluster-like experimental/ambient electronics from 1974. Planes were a duo consisting of :Gregor Curten (organ, synthesizer, guitar), Anselm Rogmans (vocals, tapes, organ, synthesizer).
