Plague Vendor are a punk band from Whittier, United States, active since 2009. The group consists of singer Brandon Blaine, guitarist Jay Rogers, bassist Michael Perez and drummer Luke Perine. Their sound combines the urgency of early post-punk with the aggression of hardcore, and is described as fast-moving and tense in character.

Career

In 2014, Plague Vendor sign to Epitaph, the punk label, and release their debut album Free to Eat that year. The record is concise in form and establishes their driving style. Their second album, Bloodsweat, follows in early 2016. It is recorded over two weeks with producer and engineer Stuart Sikes, whose credits include the Walkmen, Cat Power and Modest Mouse.
