Pitch Black
Pitch Black is a New Zealand electronic music duo from Auckland, made up of Paddy Free and Michael Hodgson. It forms in 1997, after Free and Hodgson meet in 1996, and works within dub and electronica.
Work and releases
The duo has released five albums and four remix albums. Its music appears in international film and television, including Whale Rider and CSI: Miami.
Other activity
Pitch Black also works on interactive media, including music and sound design for Metia Interactive’s Cube game for the PlayStation Portable. The group has completed six world tours.
