Pint Shot Riot is a British indie rock group from the United Kingdom. The band forms around four members: Rocket on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Rob on lead guitar and backing vocals, Mini Rocket on drums and backing vocals, and Baby Dave on bass guitar.

Formation

The band begins rehearsing in January 2007 after Rocket and Mini have already played with different musicians around Coventry. Rob, who comes from Redditch, joins on lead guitar after the band hears about his playing through a Birmingham studio. Baby Dave plays bass and is part of the line-up that creates the balance the group is looking for.

Line-up

Rocket is the frontman and also plays guitar. Mini Rocket handles drums and backing vocals. Rob plays lead guitar and contributes backing vocals. Baby Dave plays bass guitar.

Style and identity

The group is associated with indie rock, indie, alternative and Britpop. Their name comes from a mobile phone predictive text error that turns the phrase “pint shot riot” into a band identity.
