PinkPantheress is the professional name of Victoria Beverley Walker, an English singer-songwriter and record producer from Bath, England. Born in 2001, she is known for a style that combines alternative pop, bubblegum pop, dance-pop, drum and bass, future garage and jungle, along with elements of UK garage and sampled music from the 1990s and 2000s. Her vocals are often described as rap-sung, and her lyrics are personal in tone.

Career

PinkPantheress begins releasing music in 2021 while studying at university in London. She makes tracks using GarageBand and shares them on SoundCloud and TikTok. Early songs such as “Break It Off” gain attention on TikTok, helping her secure recording deals with Parlophone and Elektra Records. She releases her debut mixtape, To Hell with It, in 2021.

Breakthrough and chart success

She wins the BBC Sound of 2022 poll after the singles “Just for Me” and “Pain” both enter the UK singles chart top 40. Her 2022 single “Boy’s a Liar” reaches number two in the UK.

Albums and later releases

PinkPantheress releases her debut studio album, Heaven Knows, in 2023. It charts in ten countries and includes the UK top-20 single “Nice to Meet You” and the remix “Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2” with Ice Spice, which reaches number three on the US Billboard Hot 100. Her second mixtape, Fancy That, appears in 2025, peaks at number three on the UK Albums Chart and receives two Grammy nominations. It includes the UK top-40 singles “Tonight,” “Stateside” and “Illegal,” with “Illegal” becoming her second Billboard Hot 100 entry. A companion remix album, Fancy Some More?, also appears in 2025 and includes “Stateside + Zara Larsson,” which becomes her third US chart entry.

She is named Producer of the Year by Billboard Women in Music in 2024 and British Producer of the Year at the 2026 Brit Awards.
