Philip Selway

Philip Selway is a musician and songwriter from Abingdon-on-Thames, United Kingdom, born in 1967. He is best known as the drummer in Radiohead, and he is also associated with On a Friday and 7 Worlds Collide.

Career

Selway begins his career in the band On a Friday, which later becomes Radiohead. In Radiohead, he plays drums. He also takes part in 7 Worlds Collide, where he plays drums and provides backing vocals, with occasional guitar and lead vocals. His playing is noted for precision, versatility across different styles, and use of unusual time signatures.

Solo work and labels

Selway releases solo material under his own name. His debut solo album is Familial. He is associated with the labels LLLP and LLP.
