Peter Cat Recording Co. is an Indian indie pop and jazz pop project associated with cabaret, gypsy jazz and waltz influences. It begins in 2009 as the solo project of Suryakant Sawhney and later develops into a four-piece band based in New Delhi and San Francisco.

The group plays college festivals in 2010 and reaches the finals of NLS Strawberry Fields. Its debut album, Sinema, appears in 2011, followed by a second album, Wall of Want, in 2012.
