Peter Bradley Adams
Peter Bradley Adams is an American singer-songwriter from Birmingham, United States. He works in folk, indie, acoustic pop, americana, pop rock and ambient-influenced music, and he is also associated with alt-country.
Career
Before beginning a solo career in 2005, Adams is a founding member of eastmountainsouth, a folk/pop duo he forms in 2001 with Kat Maslich-Bode. The duo splits in 2004.
As a solo artist, Adams releases a series of albums and attracts critical recognition. Leavetaking earns IAP’s Best Singer-Songwriter-Male award in 2009 as part of its Best CD’s of 2008 awards. His third solo album, Traces, is released on Sarathan Records in 2009. In 2011, he releases Between Us on Mishara Music.
Down Like Silver and later work
In 2011, Adams and songwriter Caitlin Canty create the side project Down Like Silver, which continues. In 2014, he launches his own label, I Me Mine Records, and releases his fifth solo album, The Mighty Storm, which is recorded in Nashville at RCA Studio A. Three years later, he releases A Face Like Mine on Tone Tree Music; it is self-produced.
